March 17, 2017 – For about a week now rumors and reports have circulated that Richard Grenell, an openly gay man, is set to become the next U.S. Ambassador to NATO.
The White House has yet to confirm the appointment, although news outlets ranging from Breitbart to Bloomberg are reporting sources say it’s a sure thing.
If confirmed Grenell, 50, would be the highest ranking gay man in the Trump administration. A Michigan native, Grenell served in the United Nations during the George W. Bush administration and is frequently a contributor to Fox News.
